Bio

Silvia Bodei is an architect (IUAV, Venice), doctor in Architecture (UPC, Barcelona), and was a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Cagliari (Italy). She is currently Senior Lecturer of Architecture at the School of Built Environment and Development Studies (UKZN) where she teaches Design Studio and History of Architecture. She has authored several research papers and publications on the work of Le Corbusier, Modern architecture, industrial heritage and Italian, Spanish and South African architecture and urban design.
