Bio
- Dianne Scott is a social scientist with a research interest in the field of environmental and climate change governance, environmental politics and sustainable urban development, with a particular focus on South Africa and KwaZulu-Natal. She and her post-graduate students have also worked with environmental civil society organisations undertaking action research related to environmental and social issues identified as critical to these groups. She is currently working on a critical analysis of climate change/ water governance in South African and sub-Saharan cities. She is also a co-editor of a book on the co-production of development and climate change knowledge for the city of Cape Town.
