The program offering is either full-time (1 year) or part-time (2 years).All applications need to be completed online via the UKZN website

Entrance requirement:

1. Applicants are eligible to apply to register for the Master of Architecture qualification if they have previously been awarded a post-graduate qualification in Architecture at NQF level 8, or been admitted to the status thereof.

2. In addition, on application, applicants shall be required to submit a concept note of their proposed topic for the Architectural Research Dissertation.

Please note that meeting these requirements does not guarantee a place. Final selection is made subject to the availability of places, academic results, and the admissions committee criterion.

Students with no Research Methods credits from their Honours qualification can only register Part-Time AND will be required to complete the ARCH7RM Architectural Research Methodology module during semester 1 of their registration.
